Infused Water

No, I’m not home early. I’m still in El Salvador but I’m just popping by to check in and say hi! Since that’s boring, I also thought I’d show you one of my favorite summer things: infused water!

Maybe it’s just me, but every time Dean makes that guacamole I feel the need to have some kind of flavored drink with it. Dean gets mad when I reach for something with lots of weird sugars and things since guac alone is a pretty healthy snack. To please us both, I started making up some cool infused water recipes. My favorite so far? Cucumber water!

Cucumber Water

  • cucumber
  • lemon
  • lime
  • mint
  • water

  1. Slice your cucumber, lemon & lime.
  2. Add slices to your jug/carafe/mason jar, whatever you'd like to keep your water in. The amount of ingredients you use is really up to you. I used almost half of a cucumber (sliced thinly), half of a lime (cut into eighths), a half of a lemon (cut into quarters), and just a few mint leaves.
  3. Fill container with water, cover, and leave in the fridge overnight. In the morning, your water will be nice and tasty!

I’ve been thinking of a few new fruit waters I’m excited to try and I’m looking forward to sharing them when I come back. But in the meantime, give this one a try and let me know what you think!

Do you make your own infused water?
What’s been your favorite ingredients?

With Luck
