Doing Good: UNICEF

tap project. 10 minutes without your phone could mean 1 day of drinking water for a child in need.

Okay, so we all probably know about some pretty cool things that Unicef does to help kids, right? But have you heard about the Tap Project?

Unicef’s Tap Project is aimed at challenging us to give up something small, to make a big difference.

“UNICEF Tap Project is working to help the 768 million people around the world without access to clean water. This year you can help by taking a challenge to give up access to something far less vital than water–your cell phone.”

Dude.  I can totally do that! Every 10 minutes that you don’t touch your phone, big name donors will be funding one full day of clean water for a child in need. WIll you give it a try? How long do you think you could go? Let us know in the comments!
